Winter Retreat | Convenient 30A Studio – Heated Pool + Hot Tub

First of all positives:Location is great! Within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, pool, tram stop, market, shopping, and Rosemary Beach, etc…. Communication with property manager was excellent and quick replies. Check-in was very easy. Negatives:Sorry but the main bed was so uncomfortable that I needed to get a massage after one night’s sleep and considered going to buy a memory foam topper after the second night but decided upon propping myself up with pillows instead which thankfully they had a lot of. If you like an EXTREMELY” firm mattress you should be good to go.Secondly, the air conditioner is not sufficient. The room never got to a great temperature until the last couple of days when the temperatures drop. There is also NO bathroom ventilation and there is a de-humidifier that we emptied at least 3 times per day even though we kept the blinds and curtains shut the entire time. Third- while there is a full sized refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven, we could never find a cook top. That’s fine e cept I think k the description is deceiving. We found a full set of pots and pans and were so confused that there was no stove. On Thursday of our Saturday yo Saturday stay, we did locate a portable cooktop. I think the description should have portable cooktop and toaster oven listed instead of stove/oven. Overall our stay was good and I hate to complain…first world problems they are not. I just think the description should be more descriptive.

Great place for a couple or small family

It was great for a quick weekend trip with my friend!

We especially loved the location, for the easy access to beach and restaurants/shops. Parking was worry-free. The beach chairs and umbrellas were much appreciated. The ability to rent bicycles nearby was an added plus. The trail was fantastic, we were able to bike to Deer Lake State Park. Overall, a wonderful experience!
